Job description

Grove Vets in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nurse-led practice, working alongside a supportive team of 4 vets and experienced support staff.


Role Responsibilities

  1. Conducting full nurse consultations (9:30 AM - 5:30 PM)
  2. Assisting with surgeries and anaesthesia
  3. Performing laboratory work, x-rays, and ultrasound
  4. Providing dental care, inpatient care, and hydrotherapy
  5. Playing an active role in rehabilitation services
  6. Handling general nursing duties and patient care across a range of species
