Registered Veterinary Nurse – Richmond

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and passionate Veterinary Nurse to join a leading RCVS accredited small animal hospital in Richmond, South West London!

This hospital is a hub of advanced veterinary care, boasting state-of-the-art facilities including a CT scanner, digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopic surgery, MLS laser, laser surgery, and a fully equipped lab. With a dedicated cat ward, cat theatre, and a comfortable staff room, the hospital is designed to deliver exceptional care to patients—and a supportive, enriching environment for its people.

The team is a welcoming and experienced group, with many team members having been at the practice for over a decade. You’ll be joining 7 day vets, 3 night vets, 7 day RVNs, 2 night RVNs, 3 SVNs, 4 VCAs, and 5 CCAs—all of whom take pride in delivering excellent patient care while fostering a friendly and collaborative working culture. As a registered nurse training practice and graduate vet residency provider, you’ll also be part of an organisation that invests heavily in learning and development.

This is a varied and fulfilling role where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in everything from inpatient nursing and nurse clinics to radiography, ultrasonography, advanced CT scanning, and assisting with orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries. The successful candidate will be confident in supporting hospital patients, comfortable assisting in theatre, and keen to build strong client relationships.

Located near the stunning Kew Gardens and Richmond Park, the practice is easily accessible by public transport with mainline rail, underground, and bus routes nearby. Free parking is available just a short walk away, and there are excellent road links via the M3 and M4. Whether you’re looking for nature or city life, Richmond offers the best of both worlds!
