IVC Evidensia’s Manor Vets in Northfield (Birmingham) is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a 16-hour, part-time basis. You will deliver high standards of nursing care across first opinion cases, working alongside our veterinary surgeons and experienced nurses.

This is a varied role within a large West Midlands group, offering a collaborative environment, training opportunities, and a structured Nurse Academy path to develop clinical confidence and skills.

• Experience in clinical practice with medical/surgical nursing.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and colleagues.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Manor Vets, Northfield on a part-time basis.

Manor Vets is an established group of practices across the West Midlands, with this role based at our Northfield practice and supporting our other Manor branch practices when required. This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to work across a large and experienced team while delivering high standards of patient and client care.

You’ll be joining the wider Manor family, working alongside Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Auxiliaries, reception colleagues, admin colleagues and managers. We have certificate holders across our practices in a range of disciplines, allowing us to keep a large and varied caseload in-house.

Practice Highlights

• Established practice group across the West Midlands
• Large and experienced team including 24 Veterinary Surgeons, 25 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Student Veterinary Nurses, 9 Veterinary Auxiliaries, 17 receptionists, 4 admin colleagues and a management team
• Certificate holders across a range of disciplines, supporting a varied in-house caseload
• Digital x-ray, ultrasound and in-house blood analysers across all sites
• Additional equipment across the group including k-laser, dental x-ray and CT scanner

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 16 hours per week
• Part-time role, typically worked over two 8-hour shifts
• Varied shift times between 7:00am and 7:30pm, Monday to Friday
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 12:30pm
• Bank holidays worked on a rota basis, with time off in lieu
• Approximately 1 in 10 Saturday morning on-call rota
