Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team, predominantly at Cavehill with one day per week at Ballyclare Hospital. The role involves nurse consultations, surgery support, patient recovery, and providing high-quality nursing care within a collaborative team.

You’ll work across two sites (Cavehill and Ballyclare) with a mixed caseload, including medical and surgical nursing, anaesthesia, radiography, and patient care. RCVS registration is essential to apply.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nurse consultations, support surgical procedures and patient recovery, assist the wider team, and contribute to equipment maintenance, ordering, administration and clinic marketing.
• Work across Cavehill and Ballyclare Hospital to deliver high-quality nursing care within a varied caseload.
