Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at Clare Vet Group, based across Cavehill and Ballyclare Hospital. The role is full-time with a split site pattern, delivering high‑quality nursing care and supporting client experiences.

You will work with veterinary surgeons and the practice team to care for first opinion cases, enhance standards, and develop patient care within our clinics. On-call and weekend arrangements are included.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nurse consultations, support surgical procedures and patient recovery.
• Assist the wider team and contribute to equipment maintenance, ordering and clinic administration.
• Develop nursing skills across a varied caseload including anaesthesia, radiography and inpatient care.
