Job summary

Clare Vet Group is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team across Cavehill and Ballyclare Hospital. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care, support surgical procedures, and contribute to patient recovery while working with a collaborative team in a multi-site practice.

The role includes working 3 days at Cavehill and 1 day at Ballyclare Hospital with on-call and flexible scheduling, offering development through our Nurse Academy and support from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality nursing care in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to manage workload and contribute to equipment, administration and clinic marketing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nurse consultations and support surgical procedures.
• Support patient recovery and assist the wider team.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, ordering and clinic administration.
• Develop nursing skills across varied caseload, including surgical and medical nursing.
