Inspiring Vet Care in South Wales seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Abertillery practice on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, lead nurse-led consultations, and support patient recovery within a collaborative clinical team.
You should be RCVS-registered with at least one year of post-qualification experience, confident in medical and surgical nursing, and capable of delivering excellent client care and education.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at South Wales Vets on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis.
South Wales Vets is a three-branch small animal practice with sites in Abertillery, Blackwood and Newport. This role is based at our Abertillery practice, where you’ll be part of a supportive team delivering high-quality first opinion care to our patients and clients.
Our practice is within a short drive of the Brecon Beacons, offering plenty of opportunities for walking, exploring and enjoying the countryside, while Cardiff is around 30 minutes away.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
