Job summary

Avonvale Veterinary Centres in Heathcote, Warwickshire, part of Linnaeus, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team. The role offers 40 hours per week with a competitive salary from £30,000 per annum and a supportive, skilled nursing team focused on high‑quality care for small animals.

You will work across consults, anaesthesia, and client care, with opportunities for professional development and a flexible rota including some nights or weekends. Transport is required.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered veterinary nurse with current registration.
• Own transport and valid driving license.
• Willingness to work nights or weekends as part of rota.
• Experience in small animal practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for small animal patients.
• Assist in anesthesia, monitoring, and analgesia during procedures.
• Support clinicians and client care during daily consults and nursing duties.
• Participate in out-of-hours rota and ensure high standards of care.
