Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care’s Vet on the Hill in Caterham, Surrey, is seeking a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll deliver high-quality nursing care and support both patients and clients within a collaborative clinical team.

You’ll work alongside veterinary surgeons and nurses, contributing to standards of care, patient welfare and clinic operations while developing skills in a busy, supportive primary care environment.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Anaesthetic and sedation monitoring.
• Running nurse clinics.
• Delivering high standards of inpatient and post-operative care.
• Managing patient admissions and discharges.
• Stock management and maintaining clinical protocols.
• Supporting reception duties and contributing to a team focused on continuous improvement.
