Job summary

inspiring vet care in the UK is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for Chestnut Vets on a part-time fixed-term contract (~12 months). The role covers a varied caseload across theatre, inpatient care, radiography, dentistry and labs, with opportunities to mentor clients and colleagues.

You will be part of a friendly team of 5 full-time and 4 part-time nurses, delivering high standards of care while developing nursing skills within a supportive practice.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical veterinary nursing.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Nurse clinics including 2nd vaccinations, weight management, medication review, anal glands, diabetes checks.
• Theatre, anaesthesia, laparoscopic procedures, x‑rays, dentistry and inpatient care.
• Lab work and pharmacy support as part of a collaborative clinical team.
