Job summary

inspiring vet care’s Vet on the Hill in Caterham, Surrey, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse for a fixed-term contract of around six months. You will join a supportive clinical team and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients while ensuring excellent client experiences.

You’ll work with veterinary surgeons and the wider team on first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Anaesthetic and sedation monitoring.
• Running nurse clinics.
• Delivering inpatient and post-operative care.
• Managing patient admissions and discharges.
• Stock management and maintaining clinical protocols.
• Supporting reception duties and contributing to continuous improvement.
