Highgate Vets in Kendal is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our supportive team on a full-time 12-month contract. You will deliver high-quality nursing to a range of cases, collaborate with veterinary surgeons and the wider team, and help maintain excellent client experiences.
The role offers involvement in nursing clinics, theatre work, inpatient care and diagnostics, with opportunities for ongoing development in a friendly practice environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Highgate Vets on a full-time 12 month contract basis.
Highgate Vets is a friendly, close-knit small animal practice in Kendal, on the edge of the stunning Lake District. We have two clinics, with our team rotating between both locations and a strong focus on learning, development and supporting each other.
We’re well equipped with in-house Idexx labs, multiparameter monitors, ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, drip pumps and more. We’re also Practice Standards and Cat Friendly accredited, a Nurse Training Practice, and a host venue for Pet Blood Bank.
With a team of seven Vets and seven Veterinary Nurses, we welcome RVNs who enjoy all aspects of general practice while also supporting those keen to develop their own clinical interests.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
