Job summary

IVC Evidensia Stroud is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care and support the clinical team in a busy small animal practice.

The role offers nurse clinics, anaesthesia support, and opportunities for ongoing learning within a supportive team. 40 hours, early/late shifts, one in five Saturdays, with no out-of-hours.

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS (RCVS registration).
  • Experience delivering high-quality nursing care in a clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork with vets and staff.
  • Good organisation and a proactive approach to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied small animal caseload.
  • Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis.


Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital is a supportive small animal practice where continuous learning, collaboration and high clinical standards are at the heart of what we do. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN with an interest in nurse clinics to bring their skills and experience to a friendly, progressive team.


Our Stroud branch is well-equipped with an operating theatre, dedicated dental theatre, X-ray, dental X-ray, portable ultrasound and a newly installed scavenging system. We also have separate cat and dog wards, an isolation kennel, a separate cat reception area and a spacious, welcoming waiting room.

How You'll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.


You'll work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.


Working Pattern


  • 40 hours per week

  • 5-day working week with a mix of early and late shifts

  • 1 in 5 Saturday rota, working 8:00am-2:00pm, with time off in lieu

  • No out-of-hours requirements
