Job description

A position has arisen at our small animal practice in Totton for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.

Our practice owner, Dr Judith Archbold, is an Advanced Practitioner in small animal surgery, and opened Totton Vets4Pets in June 2018. Judith has post-grad certificates in emergency medicine and surgery GPcert. (EM+S) as well as in soft tissue/orthopaedic surgery certAVP(gSAS). In addition, Judith also has a Zoology degree, and we therefore include exotics in the cases we see.

The surgery is purpose built and fully equipped allowing excellent clinical care to be achieved. You would be joining a team of 2 Vets, 2 RVNs, 1 SVN and 3 Client Care Advisors.

By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential; general nursing and running nurse consultations. We encourage RVNs to perform schedule 3 procedures.

This is a Full-Time role working a 40 hour per week. Shifts are 8:30am - 4:30pm, 9:30am-5:30pm and 11:00am- 7:00pm. There is a 1 in 4 rota to work Saturday mornings 9:00am-12:00pm.
