Job Details

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team at Abbeymoor Veterinary Centres on a 6-month maternity leave cover.

We are a busy small animal, two-branch practice covering North and South Sheffield. The role will include a mixture of both consulting and theatre work.

There are no out of hours attached to this post. Work/life balance is very important to us, and therefore we can accommodate full or part-time hours.

You will work closely alongside our receptionist team to deliver a first-class customer service experience. The ideal candidate should be committed to providing exceptional patient treatment and care.

The Rota

• Full-time or part-time applications considered - full time 5 days per week 8:30am-4:30pm
• 1 in 6 Saturdays are available
• No Sundays
• No OOH

Our Practice

We are a team dedicated to supporting CPD and are lucky enough to have 1 Veterinary Surgeon who carries out acupuncture, another with a Certificate in Medicine. Excellent facilities and equipment include a full operating theatre, digital radiography, in-house laboratory, dental suite including digital dental radiography, and ultrasound facilities. We have added benefits of being able to offer clients extra services such as acupuncture and dedicated nurse consults. We are Silver ISFM approved at both branches.

Welcome to Halifax Road. Our surgery at Wadsley Bridge was bought from Allison and Allison in 1991. We have full operating theatre, digital x-ray, in-house laboratory, and dental suite facilities. We also have ultrasound facilities. We offer helpful advice and provide a professional and friendly service. The reception/waiting area offers a range of quality pet food and a range of pet care products.

To make us more accessible to you, we have three consulting surgeries throughout weekdays (mornings, afternoons, and evenings). We also have a morning and afternoon surgery on Saturdays.

We have full operating and x-ray equipment at Halifax Road which is used on a daily basis. Our x-ray is digitally operated, enabling clear and concise views of the animal. This is very important for our vets to give a full diagnosis.
