An exciting opportunity has arisen at our Middlesbrough Vets for Pets practice for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
We are looking for a nurse to join us on a full-time basis working 4 days a week, from 8:30 am to 7 pm, Tuesday to Friday, with Mondays off. This includes working 1 in 6 Saturdays (9 am to 12:30 pm), sole charge with support from a veterinary surgeon and receptionist.
Located on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, with excellent transport links, our practice offers both vibrant city facilities and access to rural areas, including the North York Moors and beaches. Established for 15 years, our practice handles a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases. Our team is led by Kat Goldsbrough MRCVS and includes 3 Vets, 5 Nurses, 3 scheduled nurses, 2 student nurses, supported by 4 Client Care Advisors.
We are undergoing a full refurbishment, adding a dedicated nurse consulting room, a state-of-the-art dental X-ray suite, and a new reception area designed for client and staff comfort. We are also creating a modern colleague room for staff relaxation and recharging. This is an exciting time to join as we expand and invest in our facilities and team.
Use your nursing skills to their full potential, including admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, recovery, and discharge. Assistance from ANAs and an SVN with theatre turnover and patient prep. Conducting in-depth nursing clinics, anaesthesia, radiology, and laboratory work.
