Abbey House Veterinary Hospital is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy 24-hour hospital in Morley. You will work across inpatient care, routine and advanced surgery, and nurse clinics, with exposure to ophthalmology and dental procedures.

This role offers a supportive team, a fair rota, and ongoing professional development. We provide continuous CPD, paid RCVS/VDS fees, and extensive employee benefits, including pension, life assurance, and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• RVN eligible with valid registration (RCVS)
• Experience in hospital-based nursing is desirable
• Competence in surgical nursing and dental procedures is essential

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and hospital care for a diverse caseload of medical and surgical patients
• Assist with routine and advanced surgical procedures
• Exposure to ophthalmology and surgical referral cases
• Support with advanced dental procedures and nurse clinics
• Deliver client education and preventative healthcare and maintain high patient care standards

Job Title: Registered veterinary nurseLocation: Abbey house veterinary hospital Morley (Part of Linnaeus)Salary:£29,000 per annumHours: 40 hours per week over 4 days ( with one day off per week) with an equal share of 1 in 4 weekendsAbbey House Veterinary Group are recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.Based within our busy 24-hour hospital, Abbey House is a mid-tier referral centre that receives a varied and exciting caseload from our network of practices, including out-of-hours referrals and emergency patients.This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to expand their skills within a supportive hospital environment while delivering outstanding patient care.The RoleYou will be joining a friendly, experienced nursing team and will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the hospital.
