Job summary

Linnaeus is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Abbey House Veterinary Hospital in Morley. Based in our busy 24-hour hospital, this role offers a varied caseload and opportunities to expand skills while delivering outstanding patient care.

The role involves inpatient care, surgical nursing, ophthalmology exposure, dental procedures, and nurse consultations. Shifts are 40 hours per week over 4 days, with one day off and an average 1 in 4 weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered veterinary nurse (RVN).
• Experience in a busy hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and hospital care for a diverse range of medical and surgical patients.
• Surgical nursing and assisting with routine and advanced procedures.
• Exposure to ophthalmology and surgical referrals.
• Assisting with advanced dental procedures.
• Delivering nurse consultations with a focus on patient care and preventative healthcare.
