Job summary

Calder Vets is recruiting a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join the Wakefield team. The role covers running nurse clinics, assisting vets during consultations and theatre, and monitoring anaesthetics with the surgical team. The successful candidate will provide nursing care for day patients and enjoy a balanced schedule.

You will work 40 hours per week across five days, with a 1 in 4 weekend rotation, and the position is based at Calder Vets, part of Linnaeus, in Wakefield.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification and current registration.
• Experience in a veterinary clinic with anaesthesia and theatre duties.
• Ability to balance clinical duties with patient care and team collaboration.

Your Role And Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wakefield. The role will be a fair share of the below:

• Running nurse clinics
• Assisting vet during consults
• Assisting in theatre with the vets
• Monitoring anaesthetics with the surgical team
• Nursing care for day patients.
