Job summary

Calder Vets in Wakefield (part of Linnaeus) is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a 1 in 4 Saturday rota, and you will run nurse clinics, assist vets in consultations and theatre, and monitor anaesthetics.

From £27,000 per annum FTE depending on experience

Hours:

Full time , 40 hours per week 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Your role and responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Wakefield. The role will be a fair share of the below:

• Running nurse clinics
• Assisting vet during consults
• Assisting in theatre with the vets
• Monitoring anaesthetics with the surgical team
• Nursing care for day patients.
• We care about our staff having a work/life balance and offer a varied shift pattern working 40 hours per week over 5 days, with a share in the 1:4 weekends.
