Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care, the UK’s leading vet care provider, is seeking a registered Veterinary Nurse to join Cedarmount Vets on a part-time basis. You’ll deliver high‑quality nursing care and support client and patient outcomes in a busy small‑animal practice.

You’ll perform nurse consults, monitor anaesthesia, assist with diagnostics including imaging and laboratory work, and provide inpatient care as part of a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

  • Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
  • Experience in clinical practice with nursing and surgical nursing.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and deliver high standards of care.
  • Good organisational skills and workload management.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Cedarmount Vets on part‑time basis.

We are a well‑established and busy small animal practice, primarily focused on first‑opinion care with a small referral service. Our facilities include separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, four consultation rooms, two theatres, a prep room, an imaging room, and dedicated recovery and cat wards. At Cedarmount, we are committed to giving back to the community and proudly support the Guide Dogs charity on a regular basis.

Our team currently comprises of 7 vets, 7 nurses and 3 animal care assistants.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • 21.7 hours per week
  • Working 3 days per week with 2 early shifts and 1 late shift
  • 1 in 8 weekends included within weekly hours
  • No OOH requirement
