Registered Veterinary Nurse position at Falklands Vets – Up to £30,000 DOE

Established in 1989 Falklands Vets is a small but busy practice, with a loyal client base and varied caseload, including exotics. Set in the market town of Newbury with access to countryside. The practice is close to the town centre with shops, restaurants, markets, and arts and culture experiences.

We are searching for an RVN to join our passionate team at Falklands Vets on either a full or part time basis. The successful candidate will work with a strong team of RVNs to carry out consultations, surgeries and Schedule 3 procedures in our busy practice.

The position is for 40 hours a week over 4 days with 1:8 weekends (on call until 7pm). Part-time hours will also be considered. We are also open to a 2nd year or a newly qualified RVN.

RVN Role Includes

• To work as an active member of the clinical support team.
• To fully participate in the Nursing rota as directed by the Head Nurse.
• To provide the highest standards of client service and patient care.
• To ensure timely and effective communication with all colleagues in the Practice.
• To provide assistance and support for the Veterinary Surgeons within the Practice environment.
• To comply with all professional regulations, legislations and standards associated with independent accreditation such as the RCVS practice standards scheme.
• To comply with CVS's H&S policies and attend relevant training as required.
