Job summary

PDSA Margate is seeking a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our busy hospital team. You’ll be involved in nurse consultations, inpatient care, and dispensing medications, while supporting theatre work including Schedule 3 surgery.

You’ll deliver high standards of nursing care, keep pets calm, and communicate clearly with owners. This role emphasizes welfare, teamwork, and flexible, purpose-led service delivery.

Qualifications

• Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with current registration (RCVS).
• Excellent communication with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to work in a busy, team-focused hospital environment.

Responsibilities

About you

We’relooking for a Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team atPDSAMargate.You’llbe up for a challenge and ready to adapt to the wide variety of cases we see at PDSA, no two days are ever quite the same.You’llbe confident communicating with a wide range of colleagues and clients, andyou’llenjoy sharing your skills, supportingothersand leading by example in a busy, purpose-led environment.

You’llplay a key role across the hospital, getting involved in nurse consultations, inpatient care, dispensing medications andassistingin theatre, including Schedule 3 surgery.You’lltake pride in deliveringhigh standardsof nursing care while keeping pets calm and owners informed, andyou’llbe comfortable working as part of a close-knit team to keep things running smoothly.
