Job summary

Southdown Veterinary Group in Maidenhead is looking for an Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse for weekend night shifts. The role involves inpatient care, triage, and anaesthesia, with a focus on emergency and critical care. Ideal candidates will be RCVS accredited and passionate about animal care.

Out of Hours Registered Veterinary Nurse – Nights

MiNightVet Maidenhead, Summerleaze, Berkshire

Salary up to £40,000 FTE depending on experience

On‑site | Permanent | Part‑time, 18 hours a week

We seek a Veterinary Nurse for Saturday and Sunday nights (7:30 pm – 7:30 am) or alternate 1‑week on/1‑week off and occasional Friday nights. Flexibility on hours is available.

MiNightVet Maidenhead is a small‑animal, out‑of‑hours hospital offering X‑ray, dental X‑ray, ultrasound and endoscopy units. You will work alongside a team of vets, nurses, PCAs and receptionists.

About the Role

The role involves inpatient care, triage and anaesthesia, and other out‑of‑hours clinical duties. An accredited Registered Veterinary Nurse interested in Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) is highly desirable. You will receive support from a Vet and PCA.
