Job summary

Southdown Veterinary Group is looking for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team at PetMedics, an RCVS accredited 24-hour small animal veterinary hospital. Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at PetMedics. We are an RCVS accredited 24‑hour small animal veterinary hospital and Advanced Clinical Services centre.

You will enjoy being part of a friendly, welcoming and supportive team within a spacious practice. We are well equipped, with up‑to‑date equipment, and forward thinking and this role offers all aspects of general practice and referral nursing.

Hours

Annualised hours contract (7 on 7 off pattern: 7 pm‑6:30 am / 8:30 pm‑6:30 am shifts)

PetMedics is a large veterinary hospital, staffed by a truly superb clinical team of 37 veterinary surgeons, 41 nurses and a supporting team of PCAs, receptionists, administrative staff and an ambulance team. We have a large waiting room with a separate cat waiting room area. We are proud to have been awarded GOLD status for being a Cat Friendly Clinic and the SILVER Rabbit Friendly status. Our facilities include 4 theatres, 6 consulting rooms, an intensive care ward, separate cat and dog wards, an exotics ward, an isolation ward, a digital X‑ray, a CT scanner, several ultrasound scanners, endoscopy, laparoscopy, mechanical ventilation, and an extensive in‑house laboratory.
