The Opportunity

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Kentish Town practice.

Remuneration

£33,920 per year.

About the Role

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs, and Patient Care Assistants.

Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This position offers opportunities to develop nursing clinics and promote new ideas using your initiative.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week. You will also participate in a weekend rota, covering 1:6 weekends at our Hendon Hospital.

Location

Kentish Town is a 2 vet, 3 nurse practice close to local amenities and Kentish Town train station.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient and client care.
• Support surgeries and procedures, including pre and post-operative activities.
• Conduct nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.
• Monitor and care for patients.
• Manage admissions and discharges under veterinary guidance.
• Handle patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
• Dispense and check medication.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
• Hold team briefings to coordinate practice activities.
