Straiton Vets for Pets in the Edinburgh area is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Student Veterinary Nurse (SVN) or Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team. This is a full-time role at 40 hours weekly (part-time considered).

About us:

The practice is independently run, by Hans and Kaidian, supported by a fantastic team, who are committed to delivering an outstanding level of service in the community and through this they have enabled a real \"proud to be part of the team\" work ethos. Our team is now four years old including a team of 3 RVNs. Across the team we can speak over 8 languages and we believe over the last four years we have been able to build strong bonds with our pet families. We are located at the foot of the Pentland Hills in glorious Edinburgh and our bright, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards, with in-house laboratory facilities and has state of the art imaging equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound affording our clients high levels of clinical workups onsite.

About you:

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Student Veterinary Nurse or Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Straiton Vets for Pets.

You will help ensure a high standard of care for patients and clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You must be comfortable with leading by example, have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as, how to contribute to the team to help achieve personal and practice goals. Ideally you will have experience in a Registered Nurse role.

Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week but we will be willing to consider candidates who are only able to work part time. The practice opening hours are 8.30am - 7pm Monday to Saturday.
