An exciting opportunity has arisen at our small animal practice in Penny Lane Vets4Pets for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and welcoming team.
This is a part-time position, offering 20 hours per week, ideally working over 2 days. Our nursing team works on Saturdays as part of a rota, but we’re happy to be flexible for the right candidate. If you have any specific scheduling needs, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Based on the busy Penny Lane Retail Park, we offer a fantastic location with state-of-the-art equipment and plenty of onsite parking.
We are a RCVS accredited General Practice, a nurse training practice, and we have been accredited with ISFM and RWAF to be cat and rabbit friendly at silver level.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to fully utilise your nursing skills, including admitting patients, monitoring anaesthetics, performing schedule 3 procedures, recovering, and discharging patients. Assistance from VCAs and an SVN will support theatre duties and patient prep.
Applicants should have good general nursing experience in a fast-paced practice, with at least 3 years post-qualification experience preferred.
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you!
We offer a 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home, and the Groom Room, access to discounts and cashbacks, in-house career development, pension, and holiday allowance.
We value diversity and inclusivity, reflecting the communities we serve. If you meet the role requirements but your skills and experience don’t exactly match, we still encourage you to apply, as your unique contributions through your values and behaviours are welcome.
If this sounds like the perfect role for you, please contact Emma at NorthVet@vets4pets.com for further information.
