Job summary

Medivet South Wootton is seeking a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday, with a share of Saturday mornings at our Wisbech practice.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 2 Vets, 1 SVN and 1 CCA, delivering excellent patient care in a collaborative environment. RCVS registration is essential and a Clinical Coach qualification is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse is required.
• Candidate should be passionate, motivated and collaborative.
• Willingness to work a share of Saturday mornings at Wisbech.
• 6-month fixed-term contract with 40-hour week (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse-led appointments and support consults, surgeries and procedures.
• Provide patient monitoring and care, including admissions and discharges.

Job description

Medivet South Wootton is looking for a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a 40-hour per week, Monday-Friday position, with a requirement to work a share of Saturday mornings at our Wisbech practice.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team consisting of 2 Vets, 1 SVN and 1 CCA, where we pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care and a supportive working environment.

We’re looking for an RVN who is enthusiastic, compassionate and enjoys being part of a team.

A Clinical Coach qualification would be ideal, particularly for supporting the development of our SVN, although this isn’t essential.

Working out of our Heacham branch from time to time may also be necessary.

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, carrying out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
