Job summary

Medivet South Wootton is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with a share of Saturday mornings at our Wisbech practice.

You’ll join a close-knit team of 2 Vets, 1 SVN and 1 CCA, delivering nurse-led appointments, monitoring patients and supporting surgeries. RVN registration with the RCVS is essential; Clinical Coach qualification would help develop our SVN.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
• 6-month fixed-term contract
• 40 hours per week (Mon–Fri) with Saturday morning rota at Wisbech

Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse-led appointments, schedule 3 activities and assist with consults, surgeries and procedures
• Monitor patient care, admissions and discharges
• Provide high-quality client care and collaborate with the team
• Work across practice sites as required (Heacham/ Wisbech)

Medivet South Wootton is looking for a passionate and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a 40-hour per week, Monday–Friday position, with a requirement to work a share of Saturday mornings at our Wisbech practice.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team consisting of 2 Vets, 1 SVN and 1 CCA, where we pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care and a supportive working environment.

We’re looking for an RVN who is enthusiastic, compassionate and enjoys being part of a team.

A Clinical Coach qualification would be ideal, particularly for supporting the development of our SVN, although this isn’t essential.

Working out of our Heacham branch from time to time may also be necessary.
