Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care in Eastbourne is seeking a motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, team‑oriented practice.

Eastbourne Vets across three sites offer a varied caseload from routine preventive care to complex medical and surgical cases, with ultrasound, digital x‑ray and an in‑house lab.

We provide 40 hours per week, 4 or 5 days, and rostered Saturdays; there is strong professional development through our Nurse Academy and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with nursing and surgical care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work across theatre, inpatient care and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Assist surgeons during procedures and post‑operative care.
• Support clinics, wellness screens and nurse clinics.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Eastbourne Vets on a full-time basis.

Eastbourne Vets is a well-established, three-site practice set between the stunning South Downs National Park and the Sussex coastline, making it the perfect location for anyone who enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. Across all three fully equipped sites, you'll benefit from a varied caseload, with exposure to everything from routine preventative care to more complex medical and surgical cases. Facilities include ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental equipment, an in-house laboratory, dedicated theatre and prep areas, providing an excellent clinical environment where high standards of patient care are always the priority.

You're joining a friendly, collaborative, and fully staffed team of 8 RVNs and 1 SVN who genuinely enjoy working together. Nurses are encouraged to make full use of their skills across theatre, inpatient care, consultations, wellness screens, and nurse clinics, with plenty of support available for newly qualified nurses. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 40 hours per week
• 4 days or 5 days between 8.30 am and 7:30 pm Monday - Friday
• Rostered Saturdays working 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

General Responsibilities
