Job summary

Animal Trust is launching a brand-new veterinary hospital in Cwmbran, serving Torfaen and surrounding areas. This nurse-led, CIC-backed initiative provides 24/7 emergency care and aims to deliver affordable, transparent pricing while supporting staff development.

We are seeking Registered Veterinary Nurses to join the team, embracing a supportive, collaborative environment with a varied caseload and opportunities to grow clinical skills as the hospital opens in early 2027.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with current registration in the UK.
• Eligible to work in the UK and able to cover 40 hours per week.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to patients under veterinary supervision.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, procedures and anesthesia.
• Support client communication and compassionate pet care.

We are delighted to be preparing for the launch of a brand-new veterinary hospital in Cwmbran, serving the communities of Torfaen and the surrounding areas. We look to open our doors early 2027.

Animal Trust is an independently owned, not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) providing accessible, affordable, high-quality veterinary care. Operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, our hospital will offer continuous patient care and emergency services, supporting both our clients and the wider veterinary community.

Our commitment to affordability sets us apart. With free consultations during the day and £79 out-of-hours consultations, we remove barriers that can prevent pet owners from seeking veterinary advice. Combined with our transparent packaged pricing, this allows us to see a varied and rewarding caseload, providing excellent opportunities for our clinical teams to develop their skills and experience.

We are seeking Registered Veterinary Nurses to join our team and be part of something special. Our nurse-led approach means you will be encouraged to fully utilise your nursing skills and play a key role in patient care. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a supportive and collaborative environment.
