Job description

About us:

We are a well-established, independent, small animal, first opinion practice owned by two Directors, Neil and Neill!
Our team includes 3 Vets, a Head Nurse, 3 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, an Auxiliary, 6 Receptionists and a Finance Manager all supported by our Practice Manager.

The practice has recently been renovated to include two additional consulting rooms, one of which is solely for Nurse consultations. Our Prep Room has also received a makeover, making it a spacious area to work in. We have a new kennels, separate Cat Ward and Cat waiting area. We have also achieved our ISFM Cat Friendly Status.

Our nurses utilise their skills by rotating through the different areas; Theatre, Kennels, Prep and Consultations. Further qualifications and CPD are encouraged, we also have regular lunch and learns. We have modern equipment including, a multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, laser, ultrasound and in-house blood analysers.

We have an excellent workplace culture, and hold regular meetings, organise work outings and actively encourage a healthy work/life balance. The Role:

Our opening hours are between 8am and 7pm, Monday - Friday and 8am -12:30pm on Saturdays. We do not work Out of Hours!
We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to work between 32 and 40 hours per week including 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota to cover our opening times.

We are based in Cranleigh, a thriving village at the edge of the North Downs which boasts many shops, restaurants and cafes and local scenic walks. There are good bus routes to Guildford and Horsham which provide excellent links to both London and the South coast.
