Job summary

WhatsApp Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to support nurse-led appointments and assist Veterinary Surgeons with procedures at the Loughborough branch.

The role is full-time, 40 hours over four days, with a 1 in 6 weekend rota at a sister 24-hour hospital and 1-2 bank holidays per year. You will monitor anaesthesia, assist in consultations and surgeries, maintain patient care standards, and deliver excellent client service within a supportive veterinary team.

As a Veterinary Nurse, the successful candidate will play a key role in the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments while supporting Veterinary Surgeons with procedures and surgeries. They will help ensure the highest standards of patient care, clinical excellence and regulatory compliance are maintained at all times. The position is full time, working 40 hours over four days at the Loughborough branch, alongside:

• 1 in 6 weekends at the sister 24-hour hospital
• 1-2 bank holidays per year
• 2 weeks per year on-call, The Registered Veterinary Nurse will:
• Deliver high-quality patient care through nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 procedures
• Support consultations, surgeries and clinical procedures
• Monitor anaesthesia and provide inpatient nursing care
• Manage patient admissions and discharges
• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and pet owners
• Work collaboratively within a friendly and supportive veterinary team
