Job summary

Medivet is seeking an RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse to deliver nurse-led appointments, support the Vet with procedures, and uphold the highest standards of regulatory and operational compliance while delivering exceptional care to clients and patients.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a 1:4 weekend rota at our Dorchester 24-hour hospital; TOIL back for working weekends. Part-time hours may be considered to suit.

Qualifications

• RCVS registered veterinary nurse with passion for delivering patient and client care.
• Team player who can work in a supportive practice environment.
• Commitment to high regulatory and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nurse-led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
• Support consults, surgeries and procedures, maintaining compliance.
• Monitor patients and manage admissions and discharges.
• Provide excellent care to clients and collaborate with the team.

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as required ensuring we deliver exceptional care always there to our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.
