Job summary

CVS Veterinary Group's Severn Edge Veterinary Centre in Bewdley is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice. You will work 38.88 hours across 4 days with Wednesdays off and share in Saturday mornings; there are no OOH requirements.

The role is primarily at Bewdley with some Thursday shifts at Cleobury Mortimer. The clinic is ISFM Silver Cat Friendly and offers strong learning opportunities and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

  • Some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse (nursing across all areas).
  • Confidence in anaesthetics is required; clinical coaching experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, manage wards and monitor recovery.
  • Deliver nurse consultations and clinics.
  • Monitor anaesthetics for first and second operations.

Competitive Salary: £27,800 - £32,000 (FTE) depending on experience

Life at Severn Edge Vets Bewdley
We are looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team and work 38.88 hours across 4 days a week with Wednesdays off and a share in the Saturday mornings rota - there are no OOH requirements.

This role will be mainly at our Bewdley site with Thursday shifts to be covered at our Cleobury Mortimer branch.

Severn Edge Veterinary Centre is a welcoming small animal practice in the riverside town of Bewdley, on the edge of Wyre Forest and within easy reach of Kidderminster, Worcester, and the wider West Midlands. As an ISFM Silver Cat Friendly clinic, we are committed to maintaining the highest clinical standards while also supporting learning and development.

Our facilities include digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameters, endoscopy, microscope, in-house lab equipment, giving you the tools you need to deliver outstanding care. No two days at Severn Edge are ever the same, your responsibilities will include:

About you

Our ideal candidate will have some experience as a qualified veterinary nurse and be confident in all areas of nursing, including anaesthetics. An interest in clinical coaching is desirable but not essential.
