We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Boness Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis.

Our practice includes a modern, purpose-built hospital in Barton-Le-Clay and a local branch nearby, so you’ll spend time across both sites. The hospital features a spacious reception area with separate cat and dog waiting zones, four consulting rooms (including one dedicated to nurse consultations), a fully equipped prep and theatre area, dental suite, X-ray room, lab, dispensary, and a small cattery with separate kennels.

Boness is a nurse-led practice, supported by a strong and experienced team of 13 qualified RVNs and 4 SVNs. We treat a wide variety of patients, from cats and dogs to rabbits, small furries, and the occasional chicken or exotic pet. As the local go-to practice, we also see wildlife brought in by the community, including birds of prey.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Working 4 or 5 days per week
  • 2 in 5 Saturday mornings 8am to 1pm
  • No ut-of-hours requirement
General Responsibilities
