Job summary

Garden Lodge Veterinary Clinic in Belfast is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dedicated clinical team on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, work with vets and support staff, and contribute to patient care standards within a busy primary care practice.

You’ll be supported to develop your skills through CPD and a Nurse Academy, with opportunities to lead clinics and take on delegated responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Rathgael Garden Lodge Veterinary Clinics on a full-time basis.

You’ll be joining a dedicated and experienced team of vets, nurses and support staff, working in a practice with a strong focus on high-quality patient care, clinical development and teamwork.

Our clinics are well equipped with modern facilities, including ultrasound, digital and dental X-ray, laser, piped gases and advanced anaesthesia equipment. The team also has a broad range of clinical expertise, with vets holding certificates in general practice and dermatology, alongside colleagues currently undertaking further certificates. We also offer advanced dental treatments, providing a varied and interesting caseload.

We’re passionate about developing our RVNs and actively encourage our nurses to run their own clinics and take on delegated responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to build on your clinical skills and have real autonomy within your role. We also place a strong emphasis on CPD and further education, supporting all team members to develop their knowledge and progress their careers.

Beyond the practice, we’re proud to work alongside The Barn Animal Rescue, supporting their work and contributing to the welfare of animals in need within our local community.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 7:30pm
• One in four Saturdays working 8:30am-1:00pm
• No OOH
