Crown Vets Fort William, part of inspiring vet care, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a full‑time basis. We are a well‑established mixed practice with a supportive team and diverse caseload, including small animals and opportunities in farm and equine work.
As a Registered Vet Nurse you will run nurse clinics, assist with theatre and anaesthesia, provide inpatient care and support diagnostics and imaging, while contributing to patient care and client experience.
At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we’re trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Crown Vets on a full-timebasis.
Crown Vets Fort William is a well-established mixed practice with a friendly and experienced team of 8 Vets, 3 RVNs and a fantastic support team. The practice sees a varied small animal caseload, with opportunities to manage more complex cases in-house due to its distance from referral centres, alongside optional involvement in farm and equine work.
The team is committed to high standards of patient care and nurse development, with investment in equipment such as Class IV Laser Therapy, Edan Multi-parameter, HT Vista (non-invasive skin cancer screening device) and advanced DRX imaging.
There is a strong focus on areas including preventative healthcare, dentistry and nutrition, all within a positive and sociable team environment. There is a focus to being a fear-free practice. There is also the opportunity to join with weekly out-reach clinics, where the ‘consultation room’ is taken to clients in more remote areas. These days are a superb way to also explore the stunning area of Lochaber, usually visiting a croft or two on the way back to the practice.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
We’re committed to supporting our people through career development opportunities, wellbeing initiatives and access to world‑class learning resources.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take the next step in your career, inspiring vet care offers the support, opportunity and community to help you grow.
