Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking an experienced Registered Service Manager for a specialist residential service in Fareham, Hampshire. You will lead a skilled team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support for adults with complex needs.

Ideal candidates will have senior management experience in learning disabilities, complex mental health, or trauma-informed care, and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or progress towards it).

Qualifications

• Experience as a Registered Manager or similar care management role.
• Background in Learning Disability, Mental Health or Complex Care services.
• Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the service.
• Support, develop and motivate a staff team.
• Drive a positive, inclusive culture with person-centred support.
• Manage support plans, risk assessments and care reviews.
• Ensure regulatory, legislative and company compliance.
• Complete audits, investigations and quality assurance activities.
• Manage budgets and service performance.
• Build relationships with commissioners and professionals.
• Support development of PBS approaches across the service.
• Participate in on-call rota as part of leadership.

Registered Service Managers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for an experienced and dedicated Registered Service Manager to lead one of our specialist residential services in Fareham, Hampshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established, high-performing team that is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for people with complex needs. We are a specialist service dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities, complex mental health needs, trauma-related experiences, and behaviours of concern. Our core mission is to provide person-centred support that develops independence, builds resilience, and empowers individuals to progress towards more independent living environments.

About the Role

As Registered Service Manager, you'll provide strong leadership to an experienced and committed team, ensuring the people we support receive high-quality, safe and effective care. You'll work closely with commissioners, healthcare professionals, multidisciplinary teams, families and internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding outcomes are achieved for every individual.

• Leading the day-to-day operation of the service
• Supporting, developing and motivating an established staff team
• Driving a positive and inclusive culture focused on person-centred support
• Managing support plans, risk assessments and care reviews
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative and company requirements
• Completing audits, investigations, reports and quality assurance activities

• Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders and commissioners
• Supporting the ongoing development of Positive Behaviour Support approaches across the service

We're looking for a confident and experienced leader who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for people with varying support needs. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar care management role
• Experience of working within Learning Disability, Mental Health or Complex Care services
• Strong knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern and complex presentations
• Experience leading and developing large staff teams
• Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management and CQC requirements
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards this
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with commissioners, professionals and families
• Registered Service Manager - Fareham, Hampshire - £38,000 to £42,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
