We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurses to join Ward 5 at Furness General Hospital.
Ward 5 is a busy environment with 18 short-stay acute surgical patients. The ward is supported by an established SEAC Unit, offering rapid assessment and diagnosis of various surgical conditions.
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal. We also have community health facilities including Millom Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and RLI provide a range of services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various specialist clinics.
WGH offers general hospital services, an Urgent Treatment Centre, and outpatient and inpatient care for non-life-threatening conditions.
All hospitals provide outpatient services, diagnostics, therapies, day cases, and inpatient surgeries, along with outreach services across Morecambe Bay.

Salary range: £29,970 to £36,483 per year, pro-rata
