An established industry player is seeking dedicated band 5 registered nurses to join their team in a specialized elderly medicine ward. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients with movement disorders, ensuring their comfort and safety. Ward 35 currently has 3 band 5 registered nurse vacancies. Duties will be worked across days, nights and weekends.
Ward 35 is a 26 bedded elderly medicine ward that specialises in movement disorders. The ward is made up of 4 bays and 4 side rooms, catering for patients over the age of 65 years. Ward 35 has 3 consultants, and therapists are ward based, working with our staff and patients to prevent deconditioning.
We have a collaborative approach to patient care which begins with the SAFER board round at 9am, allowing a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high standards of evidence-based care is provided, supporting patient flow and valuing patient time.
The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks from the ward manager/charge nurse. The post holder will always work within the NMC’s Code of Professional Conduct.
