Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional care within the assigned unit, coordinate care planning with other disciplines, and support ongoing education for staff. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires, with prorated amounts for part-time positions.

Responsibilities include adherence to policies and ANA standards, safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and mentoring of new employees.

Qualifications

• RN license required (NH state or any other compact state).
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred.
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice and nursing code of ethics.
• Ensures safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documents patient information clearly and adheres to policy.
• Precepts new employees and assists in professional development.
• Performs physical assessments and collects patient history on admission.
• Communicates hand-offs effectively and plans discharge needs with multidisciplinary team.

Education
