VON Canada seeks registered nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred home and community care across regions. You will assess clients, create care plans, and work with a team to provide high-quality nursing services in clients' homes and clinics.

You will perform wound care, IV therapy, disease management, and palliative care while engaging families and communities. A valid RN license, vehicle, and willingness to travel are required, with ongoing professional development and benefits

Qualifikationen

• Community health experience is an asset.

What you'll do:

• Client assessments to develop individual care plans
• Provide primary care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
• Simple and advanced wound care, including complex and negative pressure wounds
• Chronic Disease Management, e.g. diabetes care and education
• IV therapy and CVAD management
• Phlebotomy and specimen collection
• Dialysis Management
• Rehabilitative programs
• Palliative and End of Life Care
• Medication management
• And many other critical nursing skills

What we're looking for:

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
• Community health experience is an asset
• Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
