Job summary

Cygnet Group in Dundee is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to deliver high-quality care at Cygnet Wallace Hospital. The role offers a 40-hour week within a high dependency, specialist setting and requires current NMC registration.

You will contribute to every aspect of patient care, from assessments and plans to medication administration, all while maintaining documentation and embracing CPD.

Qualifications

• Current Pin Number with active NMC registration.
• Ability to maintain documentation and conduct audits with integrity.
• Understanding of latest nursing practices and patient recovery focus.

Responsibilities

• Produce outstanding written reports based on nursing assessments and observations.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality.
• Attend training and engage in CPD to advance knowledge and promote nursing.
• Ensure care plans are complete and maintained with residents, relatives, and other professionals.
• Administer medicines following healthcare procedures and guidelines.

We are looking for aRegistered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or a Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working40hours a weekat Cygnet Wallace Hospital.

Situated in a residential area of Dundee, Cygnet Wallace Hospital is an 18 bed specialist high dependency complex care service providing assessment and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities, with or without autistic spectrum disorder, as well as complex needs and behaviours.

The team can also support those who have additional mental or physical health needs, as well as those who have been detained under the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act. We accept emergency referrals and the team are experienced in managing them quickly and efficiently to ensure transition for service users is as smooth as possible.

Your day-to-day…
