• Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC.
• Demonstrated nursing experience in PACU, ED, ICU, or surgical nursing preferred.

• Provide care in accordance with best nursing practices, company policies and in collaboration with the patient, their family and the wider healthcare team
• Anticipate patient’s requirements, discuss with medical colleagues, and organise necessary investigations and equipment
• Maintain patient safety and integrity by anticipating and managing risks and potential complications in treatments, procedures and the surgical environment – including risks related to infection, positioning and restraint
• Monitor and assess patients post-surgery, ensuring a smooth recovery.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief as per protocols.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists and surgical teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Your practice will be in line with the code of conduct and professional boundaries of the nursing professional body.

• Registered Nurse with current NZ Nursing Council APC
