Circle Health Group's Ross Hall Hospital in Glasgow is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Oncology & Haematology team. This 36-hour, permanent role offers a salary up to £44,791.67 FTE, with flexible shift coverage.

You'll deliver safe, personalised nursing care across inpatient, day-case and outpatient settings, support patients through cancer treatments including chemotherapy and transfusions, and work within a multidisciplinary team to uphold high standards of patient safety and

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.
• Experience working in an Oncology and/or Haematology setting.
• Sound understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients in emotionally challenging situations.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and individualised nursing care to Oncology and Haematology patients across inpatient, day-case and outpatient settings.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in line with agreed treatment pathways and care plans.
• Support patients undergoing cancer and haematological treatments, including chemotherapy, transfusions, and supportive therapies (where trained).
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications in line with local policies, national guidance, and competency frameworks.
• Support the safe delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) where trained and authorised, or work towards SACT competency as required.
• Work in accordance with NMC Code, Circle Health Group policies, and national Oncology/Haematology standards.
• Work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team, liaising with consultants, pharmacists, specialist nurses, and allied health professionals.

We have an opportunity for an Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in theCancer Services department.

This is a part time role for 36 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration.


• Experience working in an Oncology and/or Haematology setting, or strong demonstrable interest with relevant transferable skills.


• Sound understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients in emotionally challenging situations.


• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
