Haddington Care Home seeks a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to deliver high-quality, clinically led care for residents. You will lead shifts, administer medications, update care plans and support a skilled care team, while maintaining documentation and safety. Haddington Care Home is a well established care home in Haddington, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care for up to 68 residents. With a strong team culture and focus on high standards, the home offers a supportive environment where staff can develop their skills and make a meaningful difference every day.

Registered Nurse RGN or RMN Contract

• £22.71 per hour
• Contracted to 40.25 hours per week - Paid Breaks!
• Paid [PVG/DBS], pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Ongoing training, clinical updates and funded development, with clear and supported progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles, within a well led, professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.
