Job summary

Hampton Care Home is seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN to join our clinical team. The role is a 36-hour-per-week contract at £25.23 per hour, with DBS paid, a pension, and uniform provided. 5.6 weeks of annual leave is offered based on a full-time contract.

Ongoing training, funded development and clear progression into Senior, Clinical Lead and Management roles are available within a professional environment where your skills are recognised and developed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN.
• Strong clinical judgement and decision making skills.
• Confidence in leading shifts and supporting a team.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Experience in a care home setting is beneficial, but applicants from related backgrounds are welcomed to develop.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs, develop and review care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor health changes.
• Lead shifts and guide the care team, making informed clinical decisions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity and quality of care.

Role Overview

As Registered Nurse, you will play a central role in delivering high quality, clinically led care while taking responsibility for maintaining safe, effective and person centred practice across your shift. This role combines clinical expertise with leadership, ensuring standards are upheld and care is delivered consistently in line with best practice.

You will assess needs, develop and review care plans, administer medication and monitor changes in physical and mental health. Leading shifts, you will support and guide the care team, make informed clinical decisions and respond promptly to changing needs, ensuring continuity and quality of care at all times.

Working closely with residents, families and healthcare professionals, you will use your judgement and experience to maintain high standards, ensure accurate documentation and contribute to a well organised, professional environment where dignity, independence and wellbeing are always prioritised.

What We Are Looking For
