The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Minor Procedures Unit. This is a full-time, permanent role at 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £36,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will deliver direct nursing care, assess and plan patient care, maintain clear documentation, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care. NMC registration and clinical experience are required.

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.

We have an opportunity for an Registered Nurse to join their team of staff in theMinor Procedures Unit department.

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and observations.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and carers, providing information, reassurance, and emotional support.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
• Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns, and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience working in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation, and care planning.
